Easy Cocktails

August 10, 2010

(photographed by Gordon von Steiner,

Came across a great article/slideshow and thought I would share with you all. compiled 3 recipes from bartender Don Lee (former Beverage Director at PDT in New York), which are easy to make, refreshing for the summer, and something new and interesting to try. They are all cocktails that can be made in a pitcher so that way you can enjoy the party you’re having with your friends and you won’t have to stand behind the bar making drinks all night!

Check out the recipes here. There are 3 recipes and I can’t wait to try them out.

1. Cognac Lemonade – it’s base is tea infused cognac (cool stuff)

2. Plymouth Basil Key-Lime-Ade – made with lots of cucumber, fresh basil, and plymouth gin

3. Applejack Raspberry Lemonade – lots of lemon juice, mint, and fresh raspberries

Make these at your next BBQ/grill out/summer party and I think your guests will be very impressed with your superior cocktail mastery. Go forth with faith.
